Mu Kappa Chapter of Delta Mu Delta
Faculty from New York University, Harvard, and Yale founded Delta Mu Delta in 1913 to promote scholarship in training for business and to recognize and reward scholastic achievement. Today, Delta Mu Delta is one of the highest levels of national recognition a business student can earn.
Membership in Delta Mu Delta is open only to students at colleges and universities with business programs accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Lincoln Memorial University chapter, Mu Kappa, is open to business students who are ranked in the top 20% of their class. Check out the DMD Facbook to see what's happening.
Marketing Club
The purpose of the LMU Marketing Club, a Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association is to:
- To foster scientific study and research in the field of marketing
- To foster an environment to develop leadership skills in the field of marketing
- To develop sound thinking in marketing theory and more exact knowledge and definition of marketing principles
- To improve the methods and techniques of marketing research
- To develop better public understanding and appreciation of marketing problems
- To activate classroom knowledge and theory into Experiential Learning
- To promote friendly relations between students, faculty, and the business community
- To encourage and uphold sound, honest practices, and to keep marketing operations on a high ethical plane
Members explore marketing through helping local small businesses create, plan, promote, and execute marketing and advertising plans.
